Screaming Ham Jam Skate Comp - Shoreham

Tony Hawk Comes To Town!
What a week for skating - Tony Hawk and friends on Brighton Seafront and even more mad – an impromptu visit to our local skate park at Shoreham the day before!
The Ocean Sports crew were out in force for the Hawk show! We were all lucky enough to meet Tony and co at the “meet and greet” first - then down to the seafront for the show. Skating was amazing, especially the double and trebles routines…. Then all on to the after party… fortunately the bar bill was picked up by Quiksilver.....

Ocean Sports Sponsor ‘The Chavs’ in Duchball Rally 2010
Good luck to our Peter Elliott and Malcolm Bourne as they take on the South-West in the Duchball Rally – a 3 day rally from Shoreham to Ilfracombe with crazy cars and even crazier challenges along the way, to raise money and awareness for Action Duchenne charity in aid of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Both guys taking on this challenge have sons diagnosed with this rare illness. Duchenne muscular dystrophy (Duchenne) is a rare and incurable muscle wasting condition that affects one in 3500 males.
‘The Chavs’, as they have called their team, will take on the 600 mile course across the South-West of England in a Burberry check Vauxhall Nova (check out the photos below). The rally takes place from Thursday 29th July through to Saturday 31st July.
